On September 29, the School of Economics and Frankfurt University of Finance and Management held a video conference on ICEP's international competitiveness improvement project summary seminar. Dr. He Jia, Director of the China Project Department of Frankfurt University of Finance and Management, Project Coordinator Ms. Luo Lan, Deputy Dean of the School, Professor Wu Ping, Director of the Department of International Trade and Economics, Professor Shen Qianling, Director of the Administration Office, Ms. Tian Ye, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and two project students participated in this meeting. This year the project was implemented in three universities, China Agricultural University, Hohai University and Sichuan Agricultural University, attracting more than 50 students to participate, seven of them were from our school.
The seminar was divided into three links: the organizing party to carry out project summary, students harvest sharing, the future outlook. First of all, Dr. He Jia briefly introduced the participants' participation in the ICEP International Ability Enhancement Project, course development and project evaluation. Through the questionnaire feedback collected from the students after the project, the overall evaluation of the students was excellent. At the same time, in response to the feedback from the students in the evaluation, the organizer gave a corresponding improvement plan.
Through the display of the project summary video and the result set, the participants shared their experience of participating in the project, saying that the ICEP project not only broadened their horizons, but also improved their English skills, teamwork and learning abilities, etc., which was very rewarding.
Finally, the two parties had an in-depth discussion on the next step and the direction of cooperation. Deputy Dean Wu Ping said that due to the impact of the new coronavirus outbreak, the ICEP project was changed to online courses, but the effect was far beyond expectations. There is a lot of anticipation for the future of online and offline combined operation models. In the future, the two parties would deepen cooperation and continue to explore and practice students' international ability.
