On the morning of December 15, the Economics institute successfully held an open class for exchange students in the 305 meeting room of Chengdu Campus. Seventeen undergraduate students and 25 French exchange students participated in the open class. The open class was taught by Professor Nicolas Latour from Nancy, France.
The course content is the status of luxury goods and sales in China.Nicolas Latour Professor Nicolas Latour used a large amount of data and vivid examples to explain to students the promotion of luxury goods in China. In the class, Chinese students actively responded to the questions raised by the teachers, discussed with the exchange students, shared their views, and the classroom atmosphere was very enthusiastic. Different from the traditional teaching, in the three-hour course, the teacher-student interaction takes up most of the time, the teacher's role is changed from the leading to the guiding, allowing the students to be the protagonists of the classroom, fully mobilizing the students' initiative, passively accepted. Knowledge turns to be proactive thinking and encourages them to express their ideas.
